Prince Edward Island is truly a place of dreams.
As a child I visited family on the east coast every summer, and maritime hospitality is in my blood. In our books, a breath of fresh air, a cup of tea, or a good old-fashioned kitchen party can fix almost anything.

You might want a vacation that keeps you hopping from one activity to another, and presents you with new vistas, adventures, foods, or sights and sounds you've never experienced. Or, maybe you dream of nothing more than a quiet place of solitude and reflection, with a good book and a spectacular view.

What's the best thing about PEI?
The people! (Or is it the food? Okay, maybe it's the food and the people).

Visit: www.tourismpei.com, or grab a copy of the guide (or other helpful things like trail maps and/or pamphlets) as you enter the island by ferry or the Confederation Bridge. We keep a stash of pamphlets at the cottage, a binder filled with useful information.

What's the next best thing about PEI?

Everything!
Scenic drives, rural and urban landscapes, arts and artisans, music and festivals, culinary adventures, authentic island experiences...
​
North Rustico and Gallant's Clover Farm Store are nearby for necessities. Fruit and vegetable stands open in season.

Note: a vehicle is required when you stay at Riverview Cottage. If you're arriving by air please plan ahead to book your rental vehicle.
